INGREDIENTS

Non-GMO green split peas, pinto beans, lentils, small red beans, yellow split peas, small white/navy beans, black turtle beans, light red kidney beans, baby lima beans, blackeye beans, red lentils, garbanzo beans, large lima beans
 

DIRECTIONS

Quick Soak: Place 1 lb washed and sorted beans in a large pot and add 8 cups water. Bring to rapid boil and boil for 32 minutes. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand 1 hour. Drain and rinse. Overnight Soak: Place washed and sorted beans in a large pot, add cold water, and cover. Soak overnight or for at least 8 hours. Drain and rinse. Cooking Instructions: Add 6 cups hot water to drained and rinsed beans. Simmer gently with lid tilted until desired tenderness is reached (about 1 ½ to 2 hours).
